"Word Art for Your Scrapbooks"

Saturday April 24th, 2:00 - 3:30

**There is no charge for these sessions, however pre-registration on your form is required.

You don’t always have the photograph you wish you had to capture those “precious moments”.  Maybe none was taken.  Or maybe no photographer could ever have captured what you saw, or heard, or felt.  Learn to create “captured moments” using your own words.  In this 90-minute workshop, you will learn this and other techniques to enhance your scrapbooking, and to transform your own words into treasured gifts. 
No, you don’t have to be “a writer”, and you will be surprised at your own creativity! 
 
 
Joanne Martin, B.A., M.Ed., CCC, is a Counsellor in Chatham-Kent, where she runs expressive writing workshops to assist clients through life’s transitions. Joanne is a Certified Instructor for the Journal to the Self® program, and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapists Association. Joanne has over 30 years experience in industry, higher education, and in private practice, as a counsellor, educator, trainer and facilitator. She has trained with such luminaries as Kay Adams, Christina Baldwin, Carol Pearson, and Stephanie Dowrick, among others, and has presented workshops in Canada, the U.S. And Australia.

Class # 1  - Friday April 23th 6:30pm - 8:30pm - Doreen Stampin' Up!
Cost $25  - Maximum of 10 people

In this class you will complete 10 (2 of each)every day greeting cards using stamping, punching and die cutting and embossing with the Big Shot. The cost will be $25 per person with a maximum of 10 people. 
All supplies, including envelopes, will be provided.
If you do not like using rolls of double sided tape, please bring your own adhesive.

Class # 2  - Saturday April 24th 10:30am - 12:30pm - Doreen Stampin' Up!
Cost $25  - Maximum of 10 people

Class # 3  - CD Album Scrapbook

Saturday April 24th 1:30pm- 3:30pm - Doreen Stampin' Up!
Cost $25  - Maximum of 10 people

In this class you will create a mini album using cardboard CD cases and ½ of a Simply Scrappin’ Kit.
You may bring pictures in order to complete your scrapbook if desired, but not necessary. 
All supplies, including ribbons and embellishments, will be included. 
The cost will be $25 per person with a maximum of 10 people.
If you do not like using rolls of double sided tape please bring your own adhesive.
Cutters will be available, but you may want to bring scissors and a personal trimmer.

This CD folder album has a minimum of 10 pages, with lots of pockets and additional fun items like tags and hidden pockets.

 The paper and ribbon shown in these photos is different than what will be used for this class.

Class #5  -Biking Angel Card - Amy Leggate ~ Paper Romance!
Friday 8pm-9pm OR Saturday 3pm-4pm
Cost $10  - Maximum of 10 people

Biking Angel, Cost $10, incl. all materials to make 1 card.
Please bring your own adhesives and your favourite colouring materials
(I will supply prismacolor pencil crayons & Tombow markers)
