The Chatham-Kent Special Populations program develops and implements a wide variety of year round recreation and leisure programs, special events and services to meet the interest and needs of children, teens, adults, and seniors with disabilities. Programs are designed to enhance and/or maintain leisure skills, socialization and overall sense of well being.The Chatham-Kent Special Populations Program promotes self-esteem, independence, health and safety. Our goal is to promote emotional and psychological well being of the children and youth who participate in the program.
The money raised from this event will be assisting with sponsorship in our cooperative efforts to serve people with disabilities or other conditions by providing a variety of quality recreation and leisure programs and services which enhance quality of life of the participants.
